Job summary

MHA – Mental Health Association, Western Massachusetts, is seeking a Residential Program Supervisor to lead residential staff, promote participant independence, and ensure compliant service delivery. The role focuses on mentor leadership, team coordination, and community integration within a Medicaid/agency framework.

Pay rate is $53,000 annually with a Monday–Friday schedule and 9am–5pm hours, offering a structured and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass MAP, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum six months of relevant experience in related settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support residential staff to promote independence.
• Model person-centered interactions and skill-building for participants.
• Train, mentor, and supervise staff in daily duties and ensure service quality.
• Monitor program effectiveness through documentation, feedback, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and agency policies.
• Oversee administrative tasks including documentation, budgeting, and payroll approvals.
• Manage staff performance and conduct evaluations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for guidance and emergencies.
• Maintain effective communication with team members, healthcare providers, and families.
