Knobelsdorff Electric, Inc. hosts Evolution Solar’s Residential Program Manager position in Springfield, IL. The role oversees day-to-day residential operations for intensive 10‑week cohorts at the Oglesby site, ensuring a safe, structured environment and strong participant support.

You will coach participants, coordinate with instructors, and partner with the Evolve Foundation to integrate life skills and resources while maintaining program culture and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential program management, workforce development, social services, education, correctional reentry, or related fields.
• Ability to build rapport with adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with residential or group-living environments and safety oversight.
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations during training cohorts with a safe, clean environment.
• Oversee participant orientation, check-in, schedules, house rules, and housing records.
• Coordinate facility maintenance, safety checks, and residential needs with support teams.
• Build a positive cohort culture emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and career readiness.
• Provide one-on-one coaching, conflict resolution, and non-clinical support.
• Partner with Evolve Foundation staff to integrate life skills and coaching into the program.
• Coordinate with instructors and operations teams to support training, attendance, and logistics.
• Enforce safety protocols and incident reporting; ensure continuity across cohorts.
