Job summary

Evolution Solar, a partnership between Knobelsdorff Electric, Inc. and the Evolve Foundation, seeks a Residential Program Manager to lead day‑to‑day program execution at the Oglesby, IL site during cohorts.

You will manage housing, safety, schedules, orientation, and coaching, coordinating with instructors and support teams to ensure a safe, structured environment that prepares participants for industrial solar fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential or group‑living environments.
• Strong communication and de‑escalation skills.
• Ability to maintain structure, accountability and safety in a learning setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily residential operations for training cohorts.
• Oversee participant orientation, check-in, schedules, and housing records.
• Coordinate facility maintenance, safety checks and residential needs with support teams.
• Build a positive cohort culture focused on teamwork and career readiness.
• Provide one‑on‑one coaching and non‑clinical support to participants.
• Collaborate with Evolve Foundation on life skills, financial coaching and alumni support.
• Support training logistics, attendance, transportation and communication across cohorts.
• Enforce safety protocols and residential policies; document incidents.
