Residential Program Coordinator (RPC)
Base pay: $20.50/hr.
About the Role
At Dungarvin, we are a mission‑driven team dedicated to providing person‑centered support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and complex medical needs across 15 states. You’ll work directly with people in need of assistance and help them live independently as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on care: assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry while fostering independence.
- Create a safe, welcoming environment: maintain a clean and safe space that supports comfort and personal goals.
- Mentor & guide: supervise, use positive reinforcement, and assist with staff scheduling, consistency in programming, and communication with the support team.
- Manage household services: coordinate finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, health care, nutrition, and overall household management.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, or one year of lead staff experience, or a two‑year degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in residential services preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Passion for helping others: experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety).
- Physical stamina to stay on feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
- Strong communication skills for documentation, follow‑up with support plans, and collaboration with internal and external team members.
