Job summary

Dungarvin is hiring a Residential Program Coordinator (RPC) in Minnesota to coordinate services, manage staff schedules, and support individuals with disabilities in a home-like setting. This full-time role requires leadership, communication, and a person-centered approach to help clients live as independently as possible.

You will provide direct support, assist with daily living activities, and promote dignity and choice while working closely with supervisors and care teams.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Two years of experience with individuals with disabilities or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate services related to finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, household management, and educational/vocational programs.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate program coverage.
  • Assist the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, individual supports, and team communication.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to staff and support team members.
  • Perform direct support duties during assigned shifts, including personal cares, meal preparation, transportation, and other activities of daily living.
  • Promote person-centered supports that foster independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes.
  • Assist with household management and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environment.
  • Communicate program, household, medical, behavioral, and staffing needs to supervisors.

Job Description

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely transfer, reposition, andassistindividualsin accordance withestablished safety guidelines.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and/orassistwithlifting upto 50 pounds.

Skills & Abilities

  • Prior experience in residential services preferred.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to document services, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to support individuals using a person-centered approach that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.
