Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Residential Program Coordinator to support individuals with disabilities across our residential services. This role involves coordinating finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, and household management, while creating and managing staff schedules to ensure program coverage.

You will assist the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, provide guidance and coaching to staff, and perform direct support duties during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services related to finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, household management, and educational/vocational programs.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate program coverage.

Job Description

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods.
• Ability to safely transfer, reposition, andassistindividualsin accordance withestablished safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and/orassistwithlifting upto 50 pounds.

Skills & Abilities

• Prior experience in residential services preferred.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, communication, and time management skills.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to document services, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members.
• Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to support individuals using a person-centered approach that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.
