Job summary

Kistler & Knapp Builders seeks an experienced residential Project Manager who can translate field insights into project leadership. You will partner with Project Supervisors, clients, architects, and subcontractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PM experience with meaningful hands-on construction knowledge, strong communication, and a willingness to work across active sites in Greater Boston and MetroWest.

Qualifications

• Residential construction background required.
• Approximately 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Meaningful field or hands-on construction experience alongside PM duties.
• Strong general construction knowledge; able to resolve field issues.
• Willingness to spend meaningful time on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential construction projects with Project Supervisors and the project team.
• Maintain an active presence on project sites and troubleshoot field issues.
• Build strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Participate in early client meetings and contribute to estimating.
• Help own project estimates from early client engagement stages.
• Support business development and outreach with architects.
