Job summary

Dungarvin Minnesota seeks a Nursing Assistant Residential Program Coordinator (NARPC) to supervise daily operations and provide hands-on care in our residential program for individuals with disabilities. This full-time DAY shift role requires CNA training, leadership, and a commitment to person-centered supports promoting independence.

You will mentor staff, coordinate household activities, schedule assignments, and ensure safety, training, and compliance while helping individuals achieve

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Nursing Assistant/CNA training and testing program within the last 10 years.
• If you have completed higher education in the medical field, you may also qualify for the role in lieu of a nursing assistant certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• 1 year of lead staff experience or a two-year degree in a related field.
• Prior experience in Residential Services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care: assist individuals with daily activities, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, while fostering independence with a 4:1 staffing ratio.
• Mentor & Guide: provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations; assist with staff scheduling and maintain consistency in programming and communication.
• Household Management: coordinate a variety of services including individual finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, health care/nutrition and household management.

Education

Nursing Assistant/CNA training program

Two-year degree in related field
