As a Residential Nurse, you will deliver client-centered care, promote health education, and conduct thorough interviews with clients and families to gather medical and medication histories. You will perform standard nursing duties such as measuring vital signs and temperature to ensure high-quality care.

Your role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, updating medical records, and ensuring the proper administration of medications and prescriptions, which is vital for client well-being.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Serve as a trusted source of nursing and medical knowledge, supporting collaborative teams.
2. Communicate effectively with clients regarding medication inquiries and needs, following established policies for refills and collaborating with providers as necessary.
3. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including initial admissions, post-restraint evaluations, AIMS, physical and mental health assessments, and psychiatric screenings.
4. Streamline the client check-in process, ensuring accurate data collection and medical history updates. Conduct preliminary procedures such as blood draws, urine samples, and vital measurements.
5. Prepare and administer medications per service line requirements, supervising medication administration when needed.
6. Adhere to infection control protocols, promote client hygiene, and maintain facility health standards under nursing leadership.

Qualifications :

• RN (Registered Nurse) license in Missouri
• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Missouri
• Current CPR / First Aid certification and Medication Aid trainer certification
• Preferred: experience in adult and youth psychiatric nursing
