We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our growing team and serve as a Nurse Advocate for our new client and their employees. The ideal candidate will be located in the greater Wichita area, have a thorough understanding of the healthcare system, and will be responsible for providing guidance and support to members in navigating the complex healthcare landscape.

As the dedicated Nurse Advocate, you will be responsible for resolving various issues for members, with the flexibility to think creatively. Your clinical experience will help members understand their health better and promote wellness, manage chronic conditions, and improve health outcomes through personalized coaching and education. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others achieve their health goals.

While our client has a significant presence in KS, this position offers remote work flexibility, with minimal travel within the region for periodic visits. Most work will be conducted virtually from your home office.

The key to success will be building trusted relationships with stakeholders, members, and their families. Our team is dedicated to delivering a personal, data-driven, and value-based healthcare experience to help individuals live their healthiest lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for members navigating the healthcare system.
  • Identify healthcare needs and provide clinical support.
  • Coordinate with TPAs and insurance companies to resolve claims and billing issues.
  • Educate members on healthier lifestyles and benefits utilization.
  • Advocate for members to improve healthcare outcomes, including referrals and timely care access.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Monitor health status and progress towards healthcare goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and interventions.
  • Provide client-facing reports with limited travel to client sites.
  • Review Health Risk Assessments to promote lifestyle modifications and wellness.
Qualifications:
  • Active nursing license; BSN preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a nurse case manager or related healthcare role.
  • CCM certification or eligibility, with commitment to obtain it within the first year.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare and insurance systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in EHRs, Outlook, Excel, and healthcare software.
