Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential mortgage underwriting experience.
• Strong understanding of conventional and government loan products.
• DE certifications required; SAR preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high-volume pipeline with underwriting quality.

Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite residential mortgage loan files from application to final decision.
• Collaborate with loan officers, processors, closing and management.
• Assist with guideline interpretation, scenario reviews and complex underwriting questions.
• Meet established quality, productivity, and turn-time expectations.
