Job summary

BankNewport is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to support residential lending operations. In this hybrid role, you’ll handle loan applications, collect verifications, and enter data in origination systems while ensuring compliance with TRID, Reg B and Reg Z.

You’ll coordinate with borrowers and internal teams to maintain a smooth processing pipeline. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mortgage lending, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel and Desktop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of mortgage lending experience with two years as a processor.
• Understanding of mortgage loan procedures and regulatory requirements including tax returns and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Process residential mortgage loan applications and collect verifications and supporting documents.
• Review and enter data in loan origination software.
• Coordinate with borrowers, lenders and investors to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain compliance with TRID, Reg B and Reg Z and bank policies.
• Manage pipeline and meet rate lock, contingency and closing dates.
