Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; mortgage lending experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop external business via referrals (realtors, builders, planners).
• Knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and credit underwriting basics.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and tracks progress.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops detailed marketing plans and networks with clients and partners.
• Calls and meets with customers to discuss loan products and qualification.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Reads appraisals and addresses encroachments/violations.
• Participates in networking to promote loan products.
