Job summary

PrimeLending in Arlington, TX seeks a part-time Associate Mortgage Originator. Under the Lead Originator, you will take mortgage loan applications, promote PrimeLending products, and build relationships with realtors, builders, and clients.

You will assist with loan processing, verify data, and communicate status to stakeholders while staying compliant with mortgage guidelines. The role offers flexibility and opportunities to grow with the branch’s client base.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and required licenses per state.
• At least 6 months real estate or financial services experience.
• Active NMLS registration is required and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Engages in residential mortgage loan origination activities, taking applications and negotiating terms.
• Markets and promotes PrimeLending’s financial products.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with realtors, builders, and bank officers.
• Handles loan volume and assists with loans, while learning company products and guidelines.
• Monitors customer interaction from application to closing and counsels buyers.
• Collects and analyzes income, assets, and debts for loan qualification.
• Schedules appointments with potential customers for the team.
• Obtains supporting documents and communicates loan status to all parties.
• Negotiates terms and stays updated on mortgage rules and guidelines.
• Maintains professional image and meets customer service standards.
