Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking a Home Loan Advisor to originate residential mortgage loans and provide expert guidance to members on home financing options. This role involves working across branch and call-center environments to deliver high-quality service.

The incumbent counsels borrowers, analyzes financial data, and ensures compliance with loan programs and regulatory requirements. Part-time roles begin at 30 hours per week with VyStar’s extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in mortgage lending or related banking.
• Must pass National NMLS training and obtain NMLS #.
• Two-year college degree required; knowledge of mortgage regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans at VyStar branches and call centers.
• Counsel members to determine suitable loan products.
• Enter data into loan origination software and analyze DU findings.
• Coordinate with branches and Marketing to generate loan opportunities.
• Attend branch meetings and promote home financing services.
