Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking an AVP, Mortgage Systems & Support to oversee mortgage product development, delivery, and system administration within Real Estate Lending. You will lead project planning, staff development, and collaboration with departments to drive strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and continuous improvement across mortgage processes, with remote/hybrid work considerations and a focus on member service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of residential mortgage lending industry experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of data analytics experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage processes and products; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Real Estate Lending leadership to ensure product serviceability within origination & servicing ecosystems.
• Coordinate with VyStar Title Leadership to ensure technology needs are supported.
• Manage product development and delivery under guidance of senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, Servicing and Operations to identify system/process changes.
• Ensure products comply with applicable regulations and monitor team activities, including remote/hybrid work.
