Qualifications

• Proven sales ability and track record
• Developing knowledge of mortgage industry, products, lending practices and regulatory guidelines
• Maintains high level of sales ability and negotiation skills
• Strong time management and communication skills
• PC skills and ability to learn mortgage origination systems

Responsibilities

• Meets with prospects identified directly or by referrals
• Explains mortgage products and guides customers through the loan process
• Ensures applications are complete and documents are provided
• Communicates decisions to customers and coordinates with underwriting and processing teams
• Attends closings and develops knowledge of laws and regulations in retail mortgage products
• Assists in seminars and workshops to promote home financing options
