Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking independent Residential Insurance Inspectors (1099 contractors) to travel to client sites, perform on-site inspections, take photos, and record measurements.

You will generate detailed reports for underwriting review, submit invoices monthly, and set your own schedule while meeting a 21‑day turnaround for each inspection.

Qualifications

• At least two years of comparable experience (e.g., home inspector, loss control, or underwriting).
• Reliable transportation and a high‑speed internet connection.
• Digital camera, measuring wheel or equivalent tool, and Microsoft Windows PC.
• Proficiency with inventory and reporting software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferred: prior underwriting or residential inspection experience, construction background, loss‑control experience, BA/BS degree. Preferred certifications include CPCU or IIA.
• Must own a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
