Job summary

Signature Companies in Memphis, TN, is seeking independent contractors to perform residential insurance inspections. As a 1099 contractor, you will travel to client locations, capture photographs, take measurements, and compile detailed reports for underwriters.

Invoices are processed monthly through our cloud‑based system, and you set your own schedule within a 21‑day turnaround. Responsibilities include organizing appointments, on‑site surveys, measurements, and documenting construction

Qualifications

• At least two years of home inspection experience.
• Reliable transportation and a high-speed internet connection.
• Own digital camera and measuring tools.
• Proficiency with inventory and reporting software.
• Must own smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
• BA/BS degree preferred; CPCU or IIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Digital camera, measuring wheel or equivalent tool, and Microsoft Windows PC.
• Proficiency with inventory and reporting software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferred: prior underwriting or residential inspection experience, construction background, loss‑control experience, BA/BS degree. Preferred certifications include CPCU or IIA.
• Must own a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
