Job summary

Signature Companies is hiring independent contractors as Residential Insurance Inspectors. You will travel to client locations, conduct inspections, take photographs, record measurements, and produce detailed reports that are reviewed before submission to underwriters.

You set your own schedule while meeting a 21‑day turnaround for each inspection, with invoices processed monthly through our cloud‑based system.

Qualifications

• At least two years of comparable inspection or underwriting experience.
• Reliable transportation and a high‑speed internet connection.
• Digital camera and measurement tools available.
• Proficiency with inventory and reporting software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferred: BA/BS and CPCU or IIA certifications.
• Must own smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferred: prior underwriting or residential inspection experience, construction background, loss‑control experience, BA/BS degree. Preferred certifications include CPCU or IIA.
• Must own a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
