Job summary

RADIAS Health in Minnesota is seeking full-time and part-time Mental Health Counselors to join the Residential Support Services Program. You'll work in a home-like setting, supporting adults facing barriers from mental illness and substance use disorders.

Daily duties include building rapport, helping with daily needs, and implementing treatment as part of the care team. RADIAS Health operates 14 locations across Anoka, Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties and offers a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must have car, auto insurance, and valid driver's license.
• 2,000 hours of experience with mental illness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and respectful care to all clients.
• Interact with clients to socialize and build rapport, supporting care plans.
• Monitor clients regularly as per care plans and document updates.
• Assist residents with daily living tasks, room cleaning, hygiene and laundry.
• Administer medications under nurse supervision and update medication sheets.
• Participate in treatment planning and staff meetings.
