Job summary

Comprehensive Life Resources in Tacoma, WA seeks a qualified Medication Technician to join our team. This part-time role provides residential medication monitoring for mentally ill clients, supports self-care and continuity of care, and works with the medical team to ensure medications are ordered, filled, and administered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
• If role requires driving, must have valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and working vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Park Place residents’ self-administration of medications.
• Facilitate continuity of care.
• Document all medication monitoring and self-medications in EHR program or MAR, including progress notes as needed.
• Coordinate with the medical team to ensure medications are ordered and filled.
• Provide services and activities for residential clients that enhance self-care skills, independence, social skills, and self-reliance.
• Participate in meetings and activities as required.
• Work a schedule as needed to support 24/7 nursing services
• In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
