Qualifications

• Prior cooking or food service experience required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily kitchen operations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance and scheduling flexibility.
• All employees may need FBI, PA Criminal Clearance, and Child Abuse Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals for residents and staff.
• Develop weekly menus with nutritious options.
• Order food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels.
• Receive and store deliveries per food safety standards.
• Prepare meals and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Accommodate dietary needs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary kitchen.
• Complete meal counts and inventory logs.
• Monitor food quality and proper storage procedures.
