CSG is seeking a Food Service Specialist for a Mental Health Residential program serving up to 20 individuals. You will plan menus, order groceries, prepare healthy meals, and accommodate dietary needs while managing kitchen operations and dining areas.

The role includes budget monitoring, DOH food safety compliance, staff coordination, and nutrition education. Schedule: PT 16 hrs Fri & Sat, 10am–6pm.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalency required or equivalent.
• Experience in food service or cooking preferred.
• ServSafe certification is preferred; DOH food safety knowledge is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Plan menus and maintain recipe files for quality and quantity.
• Operate ovens, broilers, fryers, mixers and kitchen equipment.
• Prepare balanced meals meeting dietary/religious needs.
• Monitor census data and adjust recipes to reduce waste.
• Ensure dining area setup and maintain sanitary kitchen areas.
• Educate residents on nutrition and whole health.
• Support trauma-informed care principles and diversity goals.
• Ensure safety, maintenance and timely repairs of kitchen equipment.
