Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Food Service Specialist for our Mental Health Residential program in Highspire, PA. The role entails planning menus, ordering supplies, and preparing balanced meals for up to 20 residents.

You’ll ensure dietary needs are met and meals align with health and safety standards. You will operate and maintain kitchen equipment, monitor budgets, and provide nutrition education to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment.
• Experience with online grocery ordering systems.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary accommodations.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan monthly/weekly breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
• Order food and supplies and monitor inventory.
• Prepare ingredients and cook meals per menus and special dietary needs.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas and ensure sanitation.
• Monitor budgets and compliance with DOH food safety regulations.
