Job summary

West Bay RI in Cranston, RI seeks experienced leaders to head residential teams serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will hire, train and support staff, promote independence and community connections, and ensure care quality and belonging.

You will manage daily operations, collaborate with clinical teams, and communicate with families, guardians, and partners to uphold dignity and safety for residents.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years leadership experience in residential services for people with I/DD.
• 2-3 years working as Direct Support Professional.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, household and vehicle maintenance.
• Manage budgets and maintain documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support behavioral health needs.
• Maintain open communication with families, guardians and partners.
• Be the steady, capable presence during urgent needs.
