West Haven Community House is seeking an Assistant Residential Supervisor to support residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community connections program. This full-time role requires flexibility, supervisory experience, and a commitment to delivering person-centered care.

The schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 40 hours per week, with benefits including vacation and a gym membership.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma required; commitment to further education.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Five years’ experience with intellectually disabled population.
• DDS Medication Certification.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Valid CT Driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain compliance to OSHA, DDS licensing standards and WHCH policies and procedures.
• Supervise direct care staff and ensure agency policies are followed.
• Oversee resident medical needs including medication oversight and doctor follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in daily logs and DDS 255s.
• Provide transportation for residents and coordinate activities and programs.
• Implement resident programs including individual plans, behavior plans and diets.
• Schedule and assign tasks to staff and supervise shift responsibilities.
• Attend training and coordinate with Residential Supervisor on needs of residents.
