What You'll Do

As a Residential Manager, you will:

• Oversee the daily operations of two residential group homes
• Supervise, coach, and develop Lead Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Professionals
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for individuals served
• Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage across assigned homes
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to emergencies as needed
• Support individuals with daily living skills, personal care, community participation, and goal achievement
• Monitor and oversee medication administration, medical appointments, and healthcare coordination
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing regulations, and state requirements
• Review documentation, progress notes, and electronic health records for accuracy and completion
• Conduct staff training, orientation, competency evaluations, and ongoing development activities
• Monitor household budgets, food supplies, consumer funds, and operational needs
• Serve as a liaison with families, service coordinators, community providers, and healthcare professionals
• Promote person-centered practices and positive outcomes for individuals supported

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs
• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Valid Non-Provisional Driver's License
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and residential locations
• Basic computer and internet proficiency, including electronic documentation systems
• Ability to successfully complete required background screenings and clearances

Preferred

• Supervisory or management experience in residential services or human services programs
• Experience overseeing group homes or community residential settings
• Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disability services and regulations
• CPR and First Aid Certifications
• Experience with medication administration and healthcare coordination

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Flexible schedule based on program needs
• Participation in on-call rotation required
• Availability for evenings, weekends, emergencies, and staffing support as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and climb stairs
• Ability to transport individuals and travel between residential locations as needed
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
