TLC Management Co. seeks an experienced Residential Maintenance Technician for our St Charles, IL property. The role focuses on maintaining apartment homes, grounds and common areas with emphasis on safety, efficiency and asset protection.

You will support the Service Manager by managing expenses, performing preventative maintenance and delivering excellent resident service. Earn $18 to $28 per hour, depending on skill and experience, with opportunities to earn commissions and quarterly bonuses.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Maintenance Technician for our St Charles, IL, property. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and grounds with a focus on efficiency, safety and asset protection. You will work closely This role supports the Service Manager by managing expenses, performing preventative maintenance, conserving energy, and providing outstanding service to our residents.

Earn $18 to $28 per hour, depending on skill level and experience, plus the opportunity to earn commissions and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• A minimum of three years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community is required.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems is required.
• Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness and address safety concerns.
• Complete unit turns according to the property checklist within established deadlines.
• A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies.
• Be available to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Availability to work on Saturdays.
• Promote workplace harmony and uphold a positive company image.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Manager and Service Manager.
