Job summary

JKL Corporation seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician for a Houston property to support building and grounds upkeep, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances. You will respond to work orders, inspect equipment, and work with vendors as needed to maintain safety and comfort for residents and staff.

The role requires previous maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in building maintenance or construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communicate and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and HVAC work orders safely and timely.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace in-unit appliances.
• Complete maintenance turnover work for move-ins.
• Maintain equipment for safety and upkeep.
• Maintain common areas for safety and appearance.
• Perform move-in/move-out inspections.
• Interact with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Perform regular property walkthroughs and coordinate with vendors.
• Inspect work by third-party vendors.
• Adhere to company rules and standards of conduct.
• Assist drive to other properties managed by JKL Corporation if necessary.
• Respond to off-hours emergencies.
