Job summary

Kittle Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX to maintain properties, deliver customer service, and present the company professionally at all times.

Responsibilities include inspecting grounds, performing preventative maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and keeping accurate records. Minimum HS diploma or GED and 1 year of experience; HVAC/EPA preferred; basic MS Outlook/Word skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook/Word).
• Strong reading, writing and basic math ability.
• Ability to follow instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses and stay below budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain all tools, equipment and replacement parts.
• Provide and maintain own set of personal tools.
• Supervise contractors on site.
• Provide emergency resident support after office hours.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records.
• Conduct quarterly unit inspections.
