Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to keep building interiors, exteriors, and common areas safe, clean, and functional. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for vacants, while maintaining accurate work records and coordinating with vendors.

This on-site role includes responding to requests, inspecting work, adhering to safety standards, and supporting cost-control efforts.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling.
• Maintains inventory, obtains supplies, and notifies supervisors when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
• Follows safety policies, attends safety meetings and completes required training.
• Inspects work by contractors to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Participates in periodic property inspections and reports safety concerns.
• Follows regulatory and internal policies and promptly reports violations.
• Practices safe work techniques and reports injuries or safety issues immediately.
• Identifies areas for efficiency improvements and keeps up with industry changes.
