Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure property buildings and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose and repair issues, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, and assist with grounds maintenance across the property.

You will follow safety policies, manage inventory, document work orders, and participate in cost-control while supporting a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local certifications required for all Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and complete work orders to meet safety and code standards.
• Complete make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Access materials and track inventory, re-order as needed through maintenance.
• Document service requests timely and accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
