Job summary

The Carroll Companies in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Beginner Maintenance Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks and respond to resident requests. You will prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status and uphold professional standards in every interaction.

You may be on-call for after-hours emergencies and contribute to a safe, well-maintained community while supporting residents and property operations.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years general maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpet, painting, etc.).
• 0-2 years experience preferred.
• Trade school or military training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to preserve and enhance property value.
• Handle service requests from residents and prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to resident requests and concerns.
• On-call rotation and after-hours emergency responses.
