Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Berlin, MD community. The role focuses on repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across 65 residential units, ensuring timely completion of work orders and property upkeep.

Responsibilities include restoring move-in ready condition, responding to emergencies, and maintaining grounds and common areas. Required: HS diploma or GED, 2+ years in maintenance, and ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPA and HVAC certifications preferred.
• At least two years of maintenance or construction experience; one year residential maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and comprehend English; knowledge of safety regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and buildings.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety across common areas and exterior spaces.
