Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Greenmount & Chase community in Baltimore, MD. This 60-unit property requires hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and efficient work order completion.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, restoring vacated apartments, and snow removal, with on-call coverage on weekends, evenings, and holidays. Must have tools, a valid license, and reliable transportation to support multiple properties within the portfolio.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum two years of maintenance or construction experience.
One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
EPA certification preferred.
HVAC certification preferred.
Must read, speak and comprehend English.
Proficiency in plumbing, electric and machinery repair.
Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces.
Completes janitorial requirements in accordance with the janitorial schedule.
Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays—resolving issues.
Patrols property daily to identify areas in need of cleaning and completes required work—remove trash/debris from property grounds and common areas, keep the dumpster area clean.
