Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the property, tackle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs, and respond to resident requests promptly.

In this on-site role, you will perform preventative maintenance, prepare vacants with quality checks, manage tools and inventory, and assist with safety compliance in a multifamily setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly using a work order system and complete repairs per standards and local codes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure safe, efficient property operation.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by inspections, punch lists, scheduling contractors, repairs and quality checks.
