Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily communities in top condition. The role covers routine maintenance, resident service requests, and semi-annual safety checks, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

The position emphasizes hands-on work across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair, plus coordinating with contractors. On-call availability and customer service are essential to success at Harbor Group

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of general maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair).
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily maintenance experience desired.
• Emergency on-call availability including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license for golf-cart operation if applicable.
• Customer-service oriented with residents.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Other certifications as required by local/state laws.

Aufgaben

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly using a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs across the property for safe operation.
• Prepare vacant units by inspections, punch lists, scheduling contractors, repairs, and quality checks.
• Maintain amenity areas through cleaning, trash removal, pressure washing, and painting.
• Manage tools, materials, inventory, and notify supervisors on reorder needs.
• Support safety policies by OSHA training and incident reporting.
• Inspect vendor work for quality and scope.
• Assist in property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
