Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity and appearance of our multifamily properties. You will handle routine maintenance, respond to resident service requests, and support efficient property operations across buildings, grounds, and amenities.

Responsibilities include performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, inspecting units for readiness, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired.
• Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for golf cart operation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and document repairs in work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation of property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections and punch lists.
• Maintain and clean amenity areas and common spaces; manage inventory of tools and materials.
