Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs in apartments and buildings, addressing residents' service requests under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.

You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, assist in turning over vacant units, preventive maintenance, and on-call after hours shifts, delivering timely, courteous service to residents.

Qualifications

• EPA/CFC Type I & II certifications preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of apartment, hotel, or facilities maintenance experience with HVAC, appliance, electrical, and plumbing repair.
• Valid Driver’s License and residence within 30 minutes of the property.
• Excellent customer service and timely, accurate responses to residents.
• Must respond to after-hour emergencies, including nights and weekends on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances; escalate as needed.
• Participate in maintenance projects and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare vacant units for market-ready status through turnover repairs.
• Perform general property grounds, apartment, and building exterior repairs.
• Provide courteous customer service and responsive communication with residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
