Job summary

Renewing Management in Indiana is seeking a Work Order Specialist to handle resident service requests and deliver exceptional customer service to residents, staff and vendors. You will repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall issues and coordinate make-readies for vacant units.

Your workday includes responding quickly to emergencies, inspecting grounds, maintaining tools and records, and ensuring safety while delivering reliable maintenance support across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of work-related experience.
• EPA Universal certificate preferred.
• Pool maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete Service Requests, including repairs to plumbing, electrical, carpentry and drywall.
• Ensure 30-minute response time to Emergency Service Requests and property disasters.
• Inspect community grounds each morning for cleanliness and upkeep.
• Turn vacant units, including painting, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Complete maintenance work orders within 48 hours and make-readies within 7 days of vacancy.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and update property software.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and replacement parts in working condition.
• Provide service for all common areas and amenities.
• Service the community pool where applicable, including water testing and cleaning.
• Communicate priorities and project status with team members.
• Coordinate special projects as directed.
• Follow safety protocols throughout all tasks.
