Job summary

Mayroad seeks a Residential Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential properties and other assets across its portfolio, including community facilities. You will work on structural, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems in a dynamic, field-based role.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of residential experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC diagnostics, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; may be offset by experience.
• At least 3+ years of residential experience in carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, and HVAC maintenance/diagnostics.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening.
• Familiar with basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical tools and power tools.
• Employee will use a personal smartphone for on-the-job communication.
• REAL-ID compliant driver’s license and travel ID; use of personal vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains residential properties and Mayroad assets.
• Handles carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and other core duties.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Works in non-climate-controlled environments with PPE and potential hazards.
