Job summary

CRM Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine building maintenance, repairs and grounds upkeep at our multi-unit properties. You will work under the Community Manager, handling tasks from plumbing and electrical to painting and carpentry, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to respond to on-call requests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3-4 years experience can offset education
• 2 years maintenance experience required
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general maintenance
• Communication skills (oral and written) required
• License/certifications in building trades encouraged
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Live within 20 miles of the property and be able to respond to on-call requests

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks (bulbs, drains, leaks)
• Repair drywall, patching, painting, carpentry
• Maintain grounds and common areas (lawn care, snow removal)
• Respond to tenant maintenance requests promptly
• Conduct regular inspections to identify issues early
• Assist with major repairs or renovations as needed
