Job summary

Red Tail Residential seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance for multi-family housing communities. You’ll handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and appliance repairs while ensuring safety standards and delivering top service to residents and teams.

Responsibilities include preparing units for occupancy, maintaining building systems, and assisting with seasonal tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician; multifamily experience preferred.
• Skills across two or more trades: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; EPA Universal and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.
