Job summary

Borger Residential seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property’s physical condition and support the Property Manager by timely completing repairs and addressing tenant requests. This role requires hands-on maintenance experience and readiness to handle hazardous materials on-site.

Responsibilities include keeping common areas clean, preparing apartments for move-in, and performing regular inspections. A background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of maintenance experience.
• Bilingual skills preferred, not required.
• Experience working in a residential setting is preferred, but not required.
• Must be trained and experienced to safely handle hazardous materials associated with building maintenance.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Handle any needed maintenance concerns in occupied, vacant and model apartments.
• Keep common areas and exterior clean and free of trash and debris.
• Make apartments move-in ready by; cleaning, patching, painting and repairing walls, fixtures, and flooring.
• Changes light bulbs, filters, and locks as needed.
• Perform daily inspections of the property and report any maintenance concerns to the Property Manager and/or Service Manager and recommend solutions.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Complete service request in order of priority.
