Job summary

Borger Residential seeks a Maintenance Technician for Brinkley House Apartments in Temple Hills, MD. The role supports the Property Manager by repairing and maintaining the property and promptly addressing tenant requests, ensuring safety and quality standards.

On-site full-time position with responsibilities across occupied, vacant, and model units, including move-in readiness, routine inspections, and preventative maintenance scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
• Residential maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Must be trained to safely handle hazardous materials in building maintenance.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Handle maintenance concerns in occupied, vacant and model apartments.
• Keep common areas and exterior clean and free of trash and debris.
• Make apartments move-in ready by cleaning, patching, painting and repairing walls, fixtures, and flooring.
• Change light bulbs, filters, and locks as needed.
• Perform daily inspections and report maintenance concerns to the Property Manager.
