Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. You will diagnose and repair issues, complete work orders, and assist with make-ready inspections for new residents.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with state/local regulations. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for bonuses and growth are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling trades.
• Manage materials and inventory, track usage and re-orders with maintenance supervisor input.
• Document service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning and light painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
