Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of a property, ensure cleanliness, safety, and functional spaces. Tasks include handling work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license for golf-cart use on property.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/2 or Universal refrigerant recycling certification is required.
• State and local licenses/certifications as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling.
• Track inventory and coordinate material ordering with maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately for records and tracking.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities upkeep and basic painting.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local certifications as required

Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
