Job summary

A leading company in community management is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician - Level II to maintain the physical condition of the community and provide excellent service to residents. The role involves diagnosing maintenance issues, making repairs, and ensuring high resident satisfaction. Candidates should have 4-6 years of maintenance experience and relevant certifications, with a pay rate of $26.00/hr and a $500 sign-on bonus.

About The Role

The Maintenance Technician maintains the physical condition of the community and provides excellent service to residents. Responsibilities include diagnosing maintenance issues, making repairs, and completing resident service requests promptly. You may be eligible for a $500 net sign-on bonus paid in your first paycheck.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Performing maintenance and inspections on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities, and lighting systems, including repairs and supervising technicians and contractors.
  • Ensuring safety and environmental policies are followed.
  • Providing high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
  • Working a rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.

Who We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4-6 years of maintenance experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Advanced knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Relevant certifications (EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) obtained within 9 months of employment or promotion
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

Regularly use hands for tools and equipment, stand, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 lbs. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, interacting with residents and staff.

Pay Rate: $26.00/hr
