Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to support our Columbus, GA communities. You’ll fix and maintain apartments, respond to work orders, and help keep common areas inviting and safe for residents.

We value hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC, plus a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Join our team and contribute to well-maintained, desirable homes for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride—because your work matters.
